A microscopic image of an irregularly shaped, heart-like dark specimen analyzed under a specialized imaging interface. The sample is dark brown to black with numerous bright, glowing orange and gold inclusions scattered throughout. A thin white dashed grid is overlaid on the image, centered on a blue crosshair and a small blue circle. A scale bar in the bottom-right corner indicates a length of 0.1 mm.

Description
This is a single crystal of Na2Mn2Se3 compound that is synthesized at high temperatures in a carbon crucible. All preparations must be done in an inert atmosphere. This image was captured by the Rigaku Synergy Single Crystal Diffractometer. This research is important to understanding broken magnetic frustration ocurring in the comparison of single crystal and powdered samples.
