Description

A portrait of the British chemist and X-ray crystallographer, Rosalind Franklin. I was inspired by her X-ray diffraction image titled “Photo 51” which was critical evidence in discovering the double helix structure of DNA. In this piece, Rosalind Franklin is seated, holding Photo 51 in her hand, whilst the diffraction pattern image is scattered around her environment.
